What to see & do
Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms, where you are welcome to just pop in for a coffee or stay for the day, visiting the Secret Hills exhibition or exploring Onny Meadows, just 2.6 miles away from camp.
Stokesay Castle in Craven Arms has been described as the finest and best preserved fortified medieval manor house in England. Take an audio tour around the Castle, visit the shop, and a stroll around the moat walk. Or book a guided tour around Stokesay Court, location for the film Atonement. Just 3.3 Miles away from Camp.
The Land of Lost Content (The National Museum of Popular British Culture) is also in Craven Arms; a shrine to the British way of life from the Victorians through the twentieth century, all contained in three floors of the Old Market Hall. Craven Arms is on the A49 Shrewsbury to Ludlow road, so this traditional market town, its unique attractions and Craven Arms accommodation are easy to find. Just 2.6 miles from camp.

Ludlow Markets - The market takes place at Castle Square in Ludlow and is the best place to find all your traditional local wares.
